SafeShred is built so that your reddit data stays with you.

Data that stays in your browser

The comments and posts SafeShred collects, your filter settings, the deletion job and its log are stored only in your browser’s extension storage. They are never sent to us or to anyone else. SafeShred talks only to www.reddit.com, using the reddit login already in your browser. It does not store your reddit password or session cookies. Uninstalling the extension deletes this data. Backups you save are files on your own computer.

Data we handle

• License server. When you activate or the extension re-checks a license key, it sends the key to our license server. For each purchase, the server stores the license key, the Paddle transaction ID, the Paddle customer ID and the key’s status. It does not receive your reddit username or content.
• Payments. Paddle.com processes orders as Merchant of Record and handles your name, email, address and payment details under Paddle’s privacy policy. We can see order details in Paddle to provide support and refunds.
• Support email. If you contact us, we keep the conversation to help you.

What we don’t do

No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and we never sell data. The use of information received from Google APIs and the Chrome Web Store follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

You can ask us to delete license records linked to your purchase at support@azulcraft.app (this deactivates the key). For payment data, contact Paddle.
